The Blasphemous Martin Luther
King Jr. Remembrance Edition
Bible

By David J. Stewart

This is just sickening folks. Some apostate Bible publisher thought they'd cash in big by marketing The Martin Luther King Remembrance Edition Bible. It is a trustworthy King James Version, which makes it even more insulting to God. How dare anyone exploit the Word of God to honor such a wicked, Christ-rejecting, unrepentant man as Martin Luther King. Few American realize that Martin Luther King Jr. was a Communist, involved in at least 60 known Communist front organizations.

Martin Luther King was an unsaved heretic, who openly denied the Virgin Birth, the Bodily Resurrection and the Deity of Jesus Christ. These are all fundamental doctrines of the Christian faith. You can read King's very own blasphemous writings in The Papers of Martin Luther King Jr. If king is to be honored, then why not publish The Adolf Hitler Remembrance Edition while you're at it? . . . or The Hugh Hefner Remembrance Edition?

One of the saddest days in American history was when a holiday was established to honor Martin Luther King. Why would the American people want to honor a Communist? In case you didn't know, Communism is synonymous with moral decay and subversion, which explains why abortionists, homosexuals and feminists have all made King an icon. King's widow, Coretta Scott King, spent the remaining years of her life advocating rights for homosexuals. Real Christian huh?

Martin Luther King preached a false social gospel which was not based upon the truth of God's Word; but rather, upon a Communist social agenda that was used to bring about the moral destruction of America.

Here's a quote from The KJV Store website describing The Martin Luther King Remembrance Edition Bible...

“This Bible honors the work and witness of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and includes Dr. King's biography, Letter From Birmingham Jail, and his stirring "I Have a Dream" speech. A handsome Bible to mark a graduation, marriage, new job or profession, or other special occasion.”

The KJV Store

The very idea that a Bible publisher and so-called Christian store would promote such a wicked heathen as Martin Luther King Jr. should make any God-fearing Christian nauseous. King was a reprobate, who is now sadly burning in the fires of Hell according to 2nd Thessalonians 1:8-9, because he refused to obey the Gospel of Jesus Christ. King didn't even believe Jesus was born of a virgin. The "reverend" King was featured in a Playboy magazine interview in 1965. The Beatles and Al Capone were also interviewed by Playboy that same year. The "reverend" Jesse Jackson was featured in a 1969 Playboy interview. Some minister huh? Martin Luther King Jr. was a big time imposter, a fraud, and a disgrace to America!!! There's only one obvious reason why any Bible publisher and Bible store would honor such a vile person as King... “For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith...” (1st Timothy 6:10).

King Denied the Bodily Resurrection, Virgin Birth, and Deity of Jesus Christ

In the same sketch, "An Autobiography of Religious Development," King wrote that, although he accepted the teachings of his Sunday school teachers until he was about twelve,

“this uncritical attitude could not last long, for it was contrary to the very nature of my being. I had always been the questioning and precocious type. At the age of 13 I shocked my Sunday School class by denying the bodily resurrection of Jesus. From the age of thirteen on doubts began to spring forth unrelentingly.”

While it is widely believed that Martin Luther King, Jr. was committed to the “Christian religion,” he was far from it. He denied some of the most fundamental components of historic Christianity. He repudiated the doctrine of the deity of Jesus, and he rejected the concept that the Lord was raised bodily from the dead. King disdained the New Testament affirmation of Christ’s Virgin Birth, asserting that the early Christians devised a mythological story to account for the moral uniqueness of Jesus of Nazareth. His theology has been profusely documented in The Christian News Encyclopedia.

1. In his paper "What Experiences of Christians Living in the Early Christian Century Led to the Christian Doctrines of the Divine Sonship of Jesus, the Virgin Birth, and the Bodily Resurrection," MLK thought that in order to understand the true meaning of orthodox creedal doctrines—like the divine Sonship of Jesus, the Virgin Birth, and the Bodily Resurrection—the literal element needed to be stripped away in order to uncover the true experiential foundation beneath it.

2. Read in light of the above, it is clear to me that in the paper, "The Sources of Fundamentalism and Liberalism Considered Historically and Psychologically," MLK is self-consciously identifying himself with classical theological liberalism and rejecting the doctrines of fundamentalism.

3. In his paper, A Study of Mithraism,” MLK suggests that the doctrines of the early church grew out of the Greek mystery religions and cults which flourished at that time.

4. In an interview with Time Magazine, MLK seems to indicate that it was at Crozer Theological Seminary (the setting for the term papers quoted above) that he saw that the ministry was a framework by which he could express his philosophy of social protest.
