Luke 17:28-30, “Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.”
The Holy Bible contains 29% prophecy, all of which are
intended to testify of Jesus Christ... “for the testimony of
Jesus is the spirit of prophecy” (Revelation 19:10). In our
text passage of Scripture from Luke 17:28-30, we are foretold of
the future Second Coming of Jesus Christ, when He will be
REVEALED to the entire world. Please understand that this does
not refer to the pretribulation Rapture, at which time
the Lord will only be revealed to His saints (i.e., born-again
Christians). At the Rapture, the Lord only comes FOR His
own; whereas 7-years later, at the close of the Tribulation
period, Christ will return WITH His own and reveal
Himself in power, glory and might to the world. It is at this
time that the wicked world will be caught off guard, and sudden
destruction will come upon them. ...
Luke 17:26-30, “And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all. ...
Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.”
Notice that before sudden
destruction came upon the city of Sodom, the inhabitants were
eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building,
but it all came to nought in an hour. This sure sounds like
America today. Everybody is going about their daily lives, doing
their own thing, enjoying all of life's goodness and having fun,
forgetting God. While we boast “In God We Trust” on our
currency, we teach tens-of-millions of children that they
evolved from stardust, apes and there is no God. While we sing
“God Bless America,” we have murdered nearly 60,000,000 babies
since 1972 in cold-blood. We are a nation of deceived liars!
Women say “Praise the Lord” while wearing mini-skirts, halter
tops, tight blue jeans and the immodest attire of a harlot. No
man can walk with God while running with the world (James 4:4).
Saints Are Looking for Jesus, But the World Doesn't Care
Titus 2:13, “Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ.”
As born-again Christian believers, we are looking for the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ (Titus 2:13); but the unsaved world are not looking for Jesus Christ. The heathen world is waiting for the Antichrist (2nd Thessalonians 2:10). The Antichrist will be a New Ager worshipping the “God of forces” (Daniel 11:38). The Antichrist will be a Jew, honoring “a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honour.” He will be a charismatic leader, swaying the masses. The world is now being prepared by the Illuminati to receive the Antichrist (the Beast), which is why we see occult symbols on the reverse side of every U.S. one-dollar bill. Hollywood is saturated with occult symbols. Magazine covers are saturated with the All Seeing One (i.e., one eye darkened, or just one eye visible).
The recent “Jurassic World” blockbuster film by Stephen Spielberg ends with the camera focusing in on The Great Pyramid (the same occult symbol seen on the back of a dollar). In the movie, the pyramid is located at the heart of Jurassic World. The capstone of the pyramid is visible, signifying the Illuminati who rule over the world. In Revelation 17:18, the Bible refers to Jerusalem as “The Great City” which reigns over the kings of the earth (Revelation 17:1-5). We see a giant 55.5 x 555.5 (666.6 inches x 6666.6 inches) foot tall occult obelisk (erect male phallus) right in our nation's capitol in Washington DC, which is The Washington Monument. It is a symbol of occult power. Freemasons reign over America! People blame the politicians, but the true criminals are behind the scenes and you'll never hear their names. It is a brilliant conspiracy!
Occult symbols are
everywhere! You'll see occult symbols on music album covers, in
magazines, on book-covers, in movies, even in church films and
on the cover of some counterfeit Bible versions. Occultists
pride themselves in sneaking occult symbols into the churches
undetected. The plethora of corrupt Bible versions adopted into
the churches today is a grand accomplishment for the Devil.
Although the Rapture Will Be Sudden, Faithful Christians are Ready for it
Mark 13:35-37, “Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning: Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping. And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.”
We know that the pretribulation Rapture will occur without notice. Our bodies will be CHANGED in the twinkling of an eye (1st Corinthians 15:52-57), given a perfect glorified body (Philippians 3:21), and CAUGHT UP into the clouds to meet with the Lord in the air (1st Thessalonians 4:17). I can't wait!!! I always think of the coming Rapture when I look out the window of a jet plane, and see the billowing puffy cumulus clouds around me. The unsaved world won't see Jesus at the Rapture. Contrary to all the hype of crashing planes, car accidents and mega-disaster, I don't think it will be like that Why you ask? It is because hardly anyone is saved anymore. No Roman Catholics will be raptured. The Mormons will be left behind. Jehovah's Witnesses, Lutherans and Seventh-Day Adventists will all be left behind.
Those who trust in Lordship Salvation will be left behind (Matthew 7:21-23). I'd say that at least half of all Baptist churches now teach the Lordship Salvation heresy garbage! Moody teaches it! Pacific Garden Mission's Unshackled is starting to teach it on some of their programs! Dr. John MacArthur is one of the biggest spreaders of the Lordship Salvation heresy in churches today. But bar none, the biggest propagator of the hellish heresy of Lordship Salvation are all the new modernized, corrupted, Satanic, Bible versions.
In our text passage of Scripture from Luke 17:28-30, we are told that sudden destruction will one day come upon the world, just as it did in the days of Lot. The same happened in the days of Noah. Everyone was eating and drinking, having a good time, building homes and planting gardens, not thinking about the things of God. This sure sounds like America today. People are selfish, just as 2nd Timothy 3:1-5 foretold. 2nd Timothy 3:5 said that these apostate and wicked people, who are liars, thieves, perverts, ingrates, disobedient to parents, gossippers, and thin-skinned hotheads, would have a FORM of godliness. The Holy Bible says to avoid them!
The Scriptures plainly
say in 2nd Timothy 3:5 that they deny the power of the Gospel to
genuinely be saved. We hear vile people today professing to be
Christians, but if you pay close attention to their testimony
(if they even have one), they speak of letting the Lord chip
away the rough areas of their life (aka,
Alice Cooper), but there is no talk of being born-again.
They try to say the right words to impress but they cannot,
because they do not posses the Holy Spirit of God which every
true believer has indwelling them (1st Corinthians 3:"16-17;
Romans 8:9). If the Lord waits another 20-30 years to return, I
dare say 1-in-10,000 people will be raptured. All of the new
Bibles completely
remove the doctrine of the imputed righteousness of Jesus Christ.
The deadly heresies of Lordship Salvation and Losing
Salvation both require human effort, while being deceived
into believing that salvation is still a free gift. Romans 11:6
exposes the error of this Satanic thinking. It cannot be both
works and grace.
The World Won't Be Ready for Christ's Second Coming
Notice the following related passage of Scripture, which is often misunderstood to mean the Rapture. In fact, these Scriptures are referring to the Second Coming of Christ, when He is REVEALED, when “he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen” (Revelation 1:7). The following Scripture passage refers to the separation of the tares (wicked) from the wheat (righteous). ...
Luke 17:34-37, “I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left. Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Wheresoever the body is, thither will the eagles be gathered together.”
Even during the horrifying events of the Tribulation period, when over half earth's population will die, the Holy Bible says men will not repent and believe the Gospel to be saved (Revelation 9:21; 16:9,11). Destruction will come upon many people during the Tribulation, but it will all be over in one day when the Lord Jesus Christ appears and the tares (wicked) are taken up and cast into Hell. The wheat (righteous) who are still alive when Christ returns will go into the 1,000-year Millennium in their physical bodies. They will have children. END
