Tormented Day And Night For Ever And Ever
by David J. Stewart | January 2016
Revelation 20:20, “And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.”
Every war ever started was started by the Devil. In John 8:44 Jesus called Satan a “murderer” and the “father” of all lying. Evidence that the Devil cannot be changed is seen in Revelation 20:7-20. Toward the end of the 1,000 year millennial period (when Christ reigns over the earth in peace), the Devil will be released by God for a time from the Bottomless Pit. Through deception, once again Satan will lure the unsaved people upon the earth to follow him. After nearly 1,000 years in chains and imprisonment, the Devil's character won't have changed a single bit, being as ruthless and rotten as ever. The Lord will devour them all with fire and cast them into the Lake of Fire where they will be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
These are horrifying prophecies! The Beast (Antichrist), False Prophet (likely the Pope), and the Devil himself will be burned alive in the Lake of Fire, which is the Second Death (Revelation 20:6). They will be tormented without hope nor mercy, day and night in excruciating pain, suffering the vengeance of a holy God for ever and ever. These are the unchanging, unalterable, inspired, Words of God!!! The Bible also foretells that all of the unsaved will join Satan to be tormented in the fires of Hell. Unless a person is born-again, they CANNOT enter into the Kingdom of God (John 3:3). The world is filled with devout religious people, who go about trying to live the Christian life, but they have never been born-again. They will all go to Hell, because they were deceived by the Devil not to believe the Gospel. Romans 10:3-4, “For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.”
What a horrifying thought, to be “TORMENTED” in the Lake of Fire, without end, without rest or relief, for all eternity! It's so awful that I cannot fathom such a horrific fate. I'm so very glad and thankful that I am a born-again Christian. I love Jesus and He is precious to me, because He died on the cross for my many sins, sacrificing His body and blood to pay for my sins (1st Peter 1:18-19). Hell will include unbearable physical pain from the flames. Hell will be inexplicable mental anguish, suffering and emotional trauma. There will be no escape. It won't matter then if you believe. It won't matter then if you believe that Jesus is the Savior. You will have blown your only chance, while you were still alive on earth, to be saved.
I heard in the news yesterday that Glenn Frey (1948-2016) of the Rock 'N' Roll band, The Eagles, died. I sincerely wonder where Glenn Frey of the Eagle's went, Heaven or Hell? There is no doubt that The Eagles were a part of the Devil's New World Order. Their hit song, “Hotel California,” is purported to have been a tribute to the Church Of Satan founder, Anton LaVey. The Eagles and the band's individual solo career album covers have been saturated with occult symbols over the decades. Albeit, none of this proves where Glenn Frey is right now in eternity. I certainly disagree with those who say that everyone goes to Heaven, because the Bible plainly evidences that most people go to Hell (Matthew 7:13-15; Luke 13:23-24; Matthew 24:37-39). I have searched the internet and it appears that Mr. Frey was very careful not to share his personal views on religion, which is a popular trend these days amongst celebrities. Jesus plainly warned in John 3:3, “Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” The most important concern right now is whether you are saved or not.
Revelation 14:11, “And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.” Hell is a literal place. It is a place of torment. It is a place of fire. Hell is a place of suffering, misery, and regret. Everyone who goes to Hell will be TORMENTED day and night, without hope nor rest, for all eternity!!! Only a fool would challenge this Biblical truth. Jesus called the two men on the road to Emmaus “FOOLS” for being slow to believe the Word of God. Luke 24:25, “Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken.” Are you also a fool for being slow to believe the Bible? Jesus said that in Luke 24:25, not me. The Bible calls every person a “fool” if they are slow to believe the Holy Scriptures.
If you are not sure if there's a literal Hell, the Bible calls you a “fool.” If you're not sure if Hell burns with literal fire, then the Bible calls you a “fool.” If you don't think that a loving God would ever send someone to the Lake of Fire to be tormented day and night forever, then you are a “fool” according to Luke 24:25! I say that kindly. A wise person doesn't question God, they obey Him!!!
Oh friend, please do not go to Hell when you die. Upon breathing your last breath, when your heart beats for the last time, and you enter into eternity, you will know within just seconds that everything the Holy Bible says is 100% true! And if you tragically find yourself in Hell, it will be too late. You will scream in terror, crying out in horrifying shock, “Oh God! No, this cannot be happening!,” as you realize for the first time that you were a total fool while alive on earth, but there is no way out of your predicament. There is no going back once you enter into eternity. If you refuse to obey the Gospel here on earth, then you cannot go back once you get to Hell beneath. The Bible speaks of Hell getting ready to receive the unsaved person. Isaiah 14:9, “Hell from beneath is moved for thee to meet thee at thy coming: it stirreth up the dead for thee, even all the chief ones of the earth; it hath raised up from their thrones all the kings of the nations.”
The good news is that if you're reading this, it's not too late. You can be saved right now. Simply admit that you are a guilty sinner in God's holy eyes, for breaking His Commandments in the Bible. Believe that Jesus died on the cross for your sins, and that He was buried, and then bodily resurrected from the dead three days later. This is “the Gospel” (the Good News) according to 1st Corinthians 15:1-4 - All Scripture references are only to the trustworthy King James Bible). If you come to the Lord as a guilty sinner (Romans 3:19), and believe the Gospel (Romans 1:16), welcome to God's family (Galatians 3:26)!!! END
love God who doesn't love sinners!”
