The Way Of The Wicked

Proverbs 15:9, “The way of the wicked is an abomination unto the LORD:
but he loveth him that followeth after righteousness.”

America is in the awful mess it's in today because people have rejected the inspired Words of God—the precious the Holy Bible. Instead we have become our own gods—humanists, evolutionists, backsliders, abortionists, homosexuals, rebels, idolaters, and filled with stubborn arrogance and sinful pride. What an interesting term in Proverbs 15:9a, “THE WAY OF THE WICKED.”

Psalms 1:6, “For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.” Psalms 147:20, “He hath not dealt so with any nation: and as for his judgments, they have not known them. Praise ye the LORD.” Since 1963, Luciferians have banned the Word of God in all of America's public (government) school classrooms. Yesterday's ungodly youth are today's reckless adults.

In Ephesians 4:17-19 we read a scathing indictment of the wicked world. Heathens walk in the vanity of their mind. Their thoughts are saturated with everything from professional sports, sexual lust, the insane circus of the newsmedia, rumors and gossip, to the retarded lyrics in much of today's so-called “music,” et cetera. Their thoughts are frail and fleeting, their ambitions are utterly shallow and of no eternal significance, they selfishly live for today with no concern for their soul's fate in eternity. They care not about the things of the Lord Jesus Christ. The Bible says that their heart is darkened, alienated from God because of their woeful ignorance of spiritual matters. Their heart is hard and calloused, blinded by Satan to the truth. Because of sin they are beyond genuine feelings of kindness, gratitude or forgiveness. All their decisions are made on the basis of money and greed, willing to do unethical things to acquire ill-gotten wealth. They are lascivious, consumed with sex, sex, sex, adulterous and lacking any genuine moral integrity. They live adulterously and often end up divorcing. ...

Ephesians 4:17-32, This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind, Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart: Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness. ...

The Holy Bible further states, teaching how a born-again Christian ought to behave. The preceding indictment of the wicked is not what we have been taught in Jesus Christ since we've been saved. ...

But ye have not so learned Christ; If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus: That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another. Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: Neither give place to the devil. Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth. Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.”

The Apostle Paul (speaking under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit) begins this passage of Scripture by admonishing the Gentile Christians at Ephesus, teaching them not to be like other Gentiles who are heathens. Paul describes the unsaved Gentiles as walking in the vanity (emptiness) of their mind. That is, their minds are preoccupied with silly nonsense, wickedness, indecent pictures, workplace gossip, slander of good people, hateful backbiting, newspaper manure, hatred of people, Hollywood movies, Rock music, dishonesty, worldly philosophies and everything that is unholy, ugly and destructive). This is America today! Today's primetime television shows (such as the show “Wicked”) continually feature sex perversion, nudity, graphic bed scenes, homosexuality, belittling of men, feminist ideologies, bloody murders, violence, crime, transvestites, et cetera (which are all key elements of Satanism. Sex is the God of Satanism! And Satan is the God of this evil world). Everything is going to Hell, which is where this crooked generation is headed.

I wrote this article to focus upon the CONTRAST between the way of the wicked and the way of the righteous, so you'll hopefully not be like the wicked. The Devil is relentlessly attempting to blur the lines of decency, morality, truth and the Word of God. Satan's primary intent is to CONFUSE everyone, to INFILTRATE and TRANSFORM the churches, from the house of God into into fun centers and places of spirituality without theology. Satan labors to weaken and cripple the preaching of the Gospel, and overall, the work of God.

Psalms 1:1-2, “Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.”

Psalms 146:9, “The LORD preserveth the strangers; he relieveth the fatherless and widow: but the way of the wicked he turneth upside down.”

Proverbs 4:19, “The way of the wicked is as darkness: they know not at what they stumble.”

Proverbs 12:26, “The righteous is more excellent than his neighbour: but the way of the wicked seduceth them.”

Proverbs 15:9, “The way of the wicked is an abomination unto the LORD: but he loveth him that followeth after righteousness.”

Jeremiah 12:1, “Righteous art thou, O LORD, when I plead with thee: yet let me talk with thee of thy judgments: Wherefore doth the way of the wicked prosper? wherefore are all they happy that deal very treacherously?”

Proverbs 15:19, “The way of the slothful man is as an hedge of thorns: but the way of the righteous is made plain.”
