Ungodly Gutless Pastors Won't Stand Today

Daniel 12:3, “And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.” Romans 16:15, “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.”

       I have been getting a lot of criticism for promoting Pastor Steven Anderson on social media. Good, I'm standing with my soulwinning Brother in Christ! Humbly said, I am proud of Pastor Anderson and the Faithful Word Baptist Church. They deserve a lot of praise. Only eternity will reveal all the good being done by God through their faithful labors. The great need of the hour is local Bible-believing, soulwinning, New Testament churches.

I am so sick and tired of these do nothing Christians on the internet, who've never led even one soul to Christ, criticizing and ganging up on Pastor Anderson. Take a look at the picture above. I only took a screenshot of half the photo, because I couldn't fit all the congregation into the picture. There are as many people not shown to the right, as there are seen above. I love that photo! This is why I stand with Pastor Anderson, because God is using his preaching to get people saved and change lives. I am always for the truth-telling, soulwinning, Bible-preacher!

I get emails from former pastors, wannabe internet preachers and ignoramuses, criticizing me for promoting Pastor Anderson. What is wrong with some people? If that picture above doesn't make you want to shout hallelujah and praise God, then there's something wrong with you spiritually. I think many men are envious of Brother Anderson's success. Not me, I feel like I'm vicariously working alongside him by promoting his sermons and ministry. In fact, that is exactly what I'm doing. By promoting Pastor Anderson's ministry, I am partaker of his work. I would not bid him Godspeed if I thought he was wrong on the Gospel or the Bible. But he is correct on both! By promoting the sermons of Pastor Jack Hyles, Pastor Ralph Yankee Arnold, Pastor Curtis Hutson and other doctrinally-sound preachers, I am sharing in their ministry, laying up treasures in Heaven. Maybe I cannot be a batter or pitcher in the ballgame, but I can be a Waterboy laboring in the background to assist the players. Mark 9:41, “For whosoever shall give you a cup of water to drink in my name, because ye belong to Christ, verily I say unto you, he shall not lose his reward.”

Now, I don't agree with the Reprobate Doctrine as Pastor Anderson teaches it. I 100% believe in a pre-tribulation Rapture! I do not agree with the pre-wrath tribulation view. I also do not believe that Jesus burned in Hell for three days and nights after dying on the cross. Jesus plainly told the repentant thief that they would both be in Paradise that day (Luke 23:43). Jesus went to Paradise. I also do not believe that Jesus always existed in a human body. Nor do I believe that praying is the Bible method for believing on Christ. You can simply believe the Gospel in your heart to receive eternal life, without ever actually “asking” God to save you. So these are some minor doctrines with which I respectfully and humbly disagree with Brother Anderson, but I don't think any of them make him a false prophet. Quite the contrary, I believe God is using him mightily to reach tens of thousands of lost sinners for Jesus Christ.

I wrote this article to make an appeal to some of my web visitors who criticize Pastor Anderson. How many souls have you won to Jesus lately? How many people have you trained to become soulwinners? Where's your church? What are you allowing God to accomplish though you? Do you know why I fully support, love and promote Pastor Anderson and the Faithful Word Baptist Church? It is because I am a builder, not a destroyer. I see a guy through whom God is doing a great work, and I want to help him, not hinder him!

That is why I love, support and promote Pastor Bob Gray Sr.. That is why I love, support and promote Pastor Danny Castle. I love, support and promote Pastor Ralph Yankee Arnold. I love truth-tellers! I will love, support and promote any pastor or layman preacher who is a soulwinner!!! I don't understand why so many professed Christians hate Pastor Anderson, when he is taking a firm Biblical stand against the vile LGBTQ agenda. I am thankful for Pastor Anderson and his family. I know he says some harsh things, but that comes MUCH closer to being right than all these shallow, lame, dead, henpecked, gutless, Neo-evangelical, shameful preachers nowadays who don't stand for anything. Many of the churches are swelling with rot, they are not growing in the Lord. Here is a video compendium of sermons clips of Pastor Steven Anderson, criticizing his preaching. Bryan Denlinger and James White are both hardcore proponents of the heresy of Lordship Salvation, which tells me they are not true Christians. Evangelist Sam Gipp has sadly resorted to telling lies about Pastor Steven Anderson in an attempt to destroy him. That is not the Christian way. I mean, it's okay to preach against someone, but not when you tell lies, make assumptions and slander.

From all that I have seen, the common people love Brother Anderson. I am not a perfect man, but I am pure of heart. God has been good to me, giving me honest mentors like Pastor Jack Hyles, who were also pure of heart. I don't blindly take sides in any matter. I am on the side of THE TRUTH. I am on the side of RIGHTEOUSNESS. When I look at Pastor Anderson, I see a very sincere man with a heart of love for THE TRUTH. I see a guy with a lot of rough edges, with wildfire, but fire nonetheless! I'd rather see a guy with wildfire than no fire! When I humbly look at Pastor Anderson's preaching and labors, I see the goodness of God. I see truth. I see soulwinning. I see the joy of the Lord.

The only ones that I see attacking Brother Anderson are envious preachers who are barren. Pastor Anderson has done more to start new churches, get souls saved, and fulfill The Great Commission than 100 pastors of today's lifeless churches! Don't get mad at me, I'm just calling it as I see it. I am sick and tired of today's arrogant, lame, cowardly, henpecked and indifferent pastors. I'm talking about the gutless pastors of the Harvest Baptist Church on Guam. These pastors are worthless! They should all be fired. None of them can preach. They don't care about the truth. They use multiple Bible versions, confused and confusing everybody else. They teach and sanction the Devil's lie of Lordship Salvation. They bid Godspeed to the cesspool of iniquity at Bob Jones University today, which has become a hotbed of Lordship Salvation, and the fountainhead of the Westcott and Hort corrupt Greek. Tragically, no one cares anymore.

The churches are filled with ungodly gutless pastors today who refuse to stand against the LGBTQ movement. They refuse to take a stand against sin. If they do, they are careful not to step on toes, not to call names, not to identify sin by name. I tell you, abortion is first-degree cold-blooded murder! Booze is liquid Devil. Hollywood is of the Devil. The Bible publishing business are pulling on the same rope as the Devil. Hardly anyone recognizes the threat today! Hardly anyone cares enough to speak up and fight against the Bible-corrupting movement. While Pastor Anderson is taking a stand for God against sin, corruption and evil, Americans pastors are dropping the ball, sitting idle for God.

I thank God for Brother Anderson. I think it is great that we have preachers like him today taking a stand. We don't have to agree on everything, but we are on the same team in Jesus Christ. We need some preachers with hair on their legs to get up and preach against all these foolish, corrupt and immoral politicians today. We need some preachers with hair on their back to get up and preach unapologetically against the homosexual agenda. We need preachers who are concerned about the truth instead of making money. Luke 16:13, “No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.”

The Bible says we are at war spiritually with the powers of Satan. Our battle is not against the White House. Our battle is not with social media. Our battle is not with each other. Our battle is against spiritual wickedness in high places. Our battle is against the rulers of the darkness of this world. Therefore, our weapons and armory are spiritual in nature. Ephesians 6:10-13, “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.” Please notice three things in the preceding passage of Scripture:

1. We wrestle (fight)
2. We withstand (hang in there)
3. We stand (don't change)

Every believer is commanded by God to fight the good fight of faith. 1st Timothy 6:12, “Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.” But if you are wearied and can no longer fight, then hang in there and keep going. But if you can no longer withstand, then don't change!

Anyway, I just wanted to side with my beloved Brother in the Lord. I am so proud of Pastor Steven L. Anderson, and I firmly believe that Pastor Jack Hyles (1926-2001) would be too. I am 15 years older than Brother Anderson, yet I look up to him as a mentor. Brother Anderson doesn't like a lot of personal praise, which is one reason why I like to brag on him, because he is humble. Nothing has ever been handed to him on a silver platter. Pastor Anderson has labored from the ground up. He literally went to Arizona with nothing more than a Bible in his hand and faith in his heart, and built a thriving soulwinning church from nothing.

I often look back and wonder why I didn't do what he did when I graduated from Hyles-Anderson College in 1993. To be honest, I lacked the motivation. I believe if I had wanted to pastor a church, NOTHING could have stopped me with Christ's strength. I don't blame anybody except myself for any failures in my life. Albeit, I thank God for Brother Anderson. I have felt over the years that I am vicariously pastoring through his ministry, by supporting and promoting his church, and intend to continue to do so. I feel the same toward several pastors that I promote, not just Pastor Anderson. A big part of my internet ministry is promoting other pastors. I have taken a lot of heat over the years for supporting him, but that is exactly what the Bible told us to expect (2nd Timothy 3:12). I am not a man praiser. Talk is cheap. The reason why I wrote this article is because so many people are attacking my Christian brother for his uncompromising stand against homosexuality, feminism, Modalism, et cetera. I stand with him 100% in his Biblical stand. I don't agree with all his teachings, and neither does he with mine, but we agree on the Bible and the Gospel.

I love his preaching, which has helped my whole family over the years. Anybody who doesn't like Pastor Anderson doesn't love the truth as they ought. It is extremely shallow for pastors to disregard Pastor Anderson's entire ministry, just because he is wrong on some issues. No pastor has it all right. I sure don't. Neither did Dr. Jack Hyles. Only Jesus is always right! I fully support Pastors' Jeff Fugate, Clarence Sexton, Bob Gray Sr., Jeff Owens, Danny Castle, Pastor Ralph Yankee Arnold, Max Younce, John Rice, Dwight Moody and Jack Hyles, even though I do not agree with any of those preachers all the time. I cannot think of even one preacher with whom I agree 100% all the time. That is the nature of truth. We are all trying to figure out the puzzle of truth, comparing piece with piece, accepting and rejecting which pieces fit and which ones don't. I have honed my beliefs over the years, moving more toward the right than the left. Every preacher does that, if he is honest and pure of heart. It's not always as simple as just saying you believe the Bible, because many passages of Scripture can be interpreted differently. Personally, I believe there is no controversy concerning the plan of salvation. The Gospel of John is very plain and clear (John 20:31).

I am so sick and tired of deadbeat pastors who lack the guts to stand for anything, criticizing the guy who is standing. Nearly all of these pastors who talk about loving homosexuals no longer preach against homosexuality as a sin. Somewhere between the heresy that we should hate homosexuals, and the heresy that we should love them so much that we stop preaching against their sin, the truth resides. We must never accept the sin with the sinner, nor reject the sinner with the sin. That is what I believe. Without love truth is ineffective; without truth love is meaningless.

Pastor Jack Hyles once said in a sermon that when you find work that you are passionate about, you have found God's will for your life. I attending Hyles-Anderson College for 8 years between 1985 to 1993, when I graduated with a degree in Pastoral Theology. I used to feel bad that I didn't pursue a calling as a pastor, but over the decades I now realize that God has something different in mine for me. I never could have reached as many people as a pastor of a local church, as I have since 2002 electronically over the internet. I receive emails on a regular basis from people were were led to Christ through my humble labors online. I take not credit, but give all the praise and credit to God alone. It is the truth that changes lives, not me. Romans 1:16b says that the Gospel itself is “the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth.” I am just the VOICE of a humble, broken, redeemed sinner, preaching THE TRUTH.
