The word “church” means so little today in America. There was a time when
you could trust the title of “a church,” but that is not true anymore.
Today, many of the government-licensed 501c3 businesses (apostasy in itself), who call themselves a “church,” are nothing more than an entertainment fun center, glorified social club and/or a Satanic religious cult. I am so sick and tired of dead, apostate, corrupt so-called “churches” that exploit Christianity.
Satan has entered into the construction business! All across America the Devil is building new emerging churches—that preach another Gospel, promote another spirit, and have another Jesus! Many churches are now teaching new age philosophies. Some pastors like Bishop Carlton Pearson deny the existence of Hell.
There are even atheist churches with a lesbian atheist for a pastor! May I say, these are NOT legitimate New testament churches! These are counterfeit churches, who have no charter! Our text verses warns that God will remove the charter (candlestick) of any church that is apostate!
A common thing I hear from people when I witness to them is contempt for religion today. I always agree with them! I am as disgusted as anybody with the churches today—who promote all manner of heresy, worldliness and the Devil's New World Order.
Rotten religion is a sorry thing to live by. If you don't believe right, you won't live right! If you are a Baptist today, and you do not have any desire to love the Word, and read the Word, and live the Word, Brother, that's religion without righteousness!
I feel sorry for people in a church, who get browbeaten by their pastor to come to church for every service, and the preaching is so lame, woefully lacking substance, dead and without the fire of the Holy Spirit, that it is a form of slow torture!!! And then when many folks don't return for the Sunday evening service, they are labeled as being “backslidden” for dreading another dead sermonette from a dead preacher!!!
