The Devil's Woeful Deception About Abortion!

by David J. Stewart | December 2016

Psalms 127:3, “Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.”

One of the biggest deceptions in the world is abortion. When a young woman, especially teenage girls, have an abortion, they are not undoing a pregnancy; but rather, the horrifying reality is that they are MURDERING their own flesh and blood. Likely, they won't fully realize what they've done until 15 to 20 years later, when they finally grasp the sad truth that they could have had an adult child in the world to love, cherish, spend time with and be proud of.

Our precious Scripture text from Psalm 127:3 teaches that children are a heritage and gift from the Lord. It is a blessing from God to be able to conceive and bring a child into the world. Many people, for one reason or another, don't have that privilege. It is hard to imagine a young woman murdering her own baby, but it happens 3,700 a day in America![1] If you have had an abortion, you have a child, but you killed it! You cannot say that you've never been a mother. You were a lousy and irresponsible mother.

Only the Devil and his evil children can convince a woman that she is being “responsible” to murder her own child. The holy Bible warns against “walking in the counsel of the ungodly.” Psalms 1:1, “Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.” Literally, in the Hebrew that means: Don't follow the advice of morally wrong people!!!

Here is an example of some really ungodly advice for pregnant women, from (not surprisingly) “SELF.COM” (Have you ever noticed that the middle letter in the words “PRiDE” and “SiN” is the letter “i”? Most people have “i” problems!) ...

6. You don't have to be “irresponsible” to need an abortion.

“The stereotype [of a person seeking an abortion] is someone who is 'irresponsible' and 'sleeping around,'” often without birth control, says Torres. But there are plenty of people who are generally responsible with birth control but accidentally skip a few Pills or continue to have sex after the condom breaks. People who use birth control but do so “incorrectly and inconsistently” make up 41 percent of unintended pregnancies, according to the Guttmacher Institute. It's often not about being irresponsible, but being human and not doing everything perfectly all of the time.

“Don't have sex if you don't want to get pregnant” is the epitome of easier said than done.

“Punishing people for engaging in a behavior that is part of human nature is sort of like saying, 'If you don’t want to have nightmares, just don’t sleep,'” says Torres. "You can take precautions, but nothing in this world is foolproof—even sterilization fails." Stanwood agrees, adding that "choosing abortion can be the most responsible thing some women can do.” [emphasis added]

What a bunch of evil advice!!! Let me repeat that last line, which is very evil advice: “CHOOSINGH ABORTION CAN BE THE MOST RESPONSIBLE THING SOME WOMEN CAN DO.” You're a complete idiot if you believe that!!! If you have an abortion, God calls you a MURDERER!!! The fools who wrote the preceding ungodly advice will one day give account to God for their sinful advice, and for disobeying God's holy commandment not to kill the innocent. Exodus 20:13, “Thou shalt not kill.” The truth is that YOU ARE TOTALLY “IRRESPONSIBLE” if you have an abortion, for any reason!!! Wicked women always grasp for straws, reaching for extremes to justify the norm. The truth is that 99% of all abortions are committed by selfish, ungodly, irresponsible, people, who murder a perfectly healthy child for no good reason!!! Ecclesiastes 12:13-14, “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.”

The Lord Jesus Christ Aids, Relieves and Helps Believers, When We Are Tempted

The preceding quote downplays the evils of sexual immorality, which is the basis of the ungodly abortion industry. It is true that the human passion of lust wars against the soul. 1st Peter 2:11, “Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul.” But when a repentant sinner turns to Jesus Christ by faith and becomes a born-again Christian, God comes inside them to live, and gives them the help to overcome sinful temptations. Hebrews 2:18, “For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.” The word “succour” means “to aid or relieve, to help.”

The Lord become human, flesh, the Word of God made incarnate (John 1:1-3, 14; Colossians 2:9 - All Scriptures only from the King James Bible). In human form as a man, Jesus was “in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin” (Hebrews 4:15). Because Jesus was tempted, He can succour (aid, relieve and help) His children when we are tempted. What a beautiful truth. How does Jesus help us? He helps us through His Holy Spirit Who indwells us (Romans 8:9). Galatians 2:20, “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.” What a beautiful passage of Scripture!!! As a Christian, I don't live the Christian life; but rather, Christ lives it THROUGH ME! Colossians 3:24-25, “Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ. But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons.”

Listen to what God says to believers in Colossians 3:5-6, “Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry: For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience.” The word “mortify” means “to deaden, that is, subdue” one's passions. It means “to hold within one's limits and control.” God would not tell anyone to do self control. The holy Bible was not written to the ungodly, except the parts that tell them how to be born-again. We know this from 1st Corinthians 2:14, “But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.” The natural (or unregenerated) man cannot understand the things of God, for they are spiritually discerned.

I said that to say this—an unsaved person is disposed to think like the ungodly world. The sinful advice from SELF.COM will likely make sense to a wicked person who doesn't know the Lord Jesus Christ. They consent to sexual immorality. They excuse fornication as a mere human weakness. No my friend, it is much more, it is sin! And Romans 6:13 warns that “the wages of sin is death.” An unsaved person will probably think abortion is an acceptable option, but God says it is not. Unsaved people don't think in terms of what is sinful or what is holy, they just do what seems right at the time to them, and society as a whole. No Christian who is right with God ever supports, recommends or approves of an abortion. If you disagree, you are not right with God. You are wrong! You have an ungodly mindset. I hope that is not you. Fornication is sin. Adultery is sin. Abortion is sin. Sin brings consequences, death, and the judgment of God in eternity (Romans 1:32).

The Unsaved World Are On Their Own, When They Sin, and Want it That Way

When you don't know the Lord, you likely don't care about living a holy life. A righteous man cares, because Jesus cares.

I am not trying to be unkind. I am a big sinner just like anybody else. If you have had an abortion, I did not write this article to scold you. I would not throw dust in your face. Who am I to condemn anyone? I am just as much of a sinner as anyone else (and so are you). One sin is all it takes to keep a person out of Heaven, and send you to Hell forever (James 2:10; Romans 6:23; Revelation 20:12-15). That is why we all need a perfect Savior. Jesus Christ is the sinless, perfect, spotless, Lamb of God (John 1:29; Hebrews 4:15).
