NIV Teaches Salvation By Water Baptism
by David J. Stewart | June 2016
Acts 8:37, “And
Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart,
And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.”
Satan is the father of all liars (John 8:44). Jesus warned us that Satan is an actor, who transforms himself into an angel of light to trick his victims. Satan's ministers (servants) are also actors, who appear as righteous preachers (2nd Corinthians 11:13-15). The Holy Scriptures warn us that Satan changes the truth of God into a lie (Romans 1:25). Since 1881 when Brooke Westcott and Fenton Hort published their corrupt Alexandrian Greek translation, Satan has published hundreds of corrupt English Bible revisions based upon those works to corrupt, confuse and hinder churchgoers from being saved.
One of the worst Bible revisions, and the most popular, is the New International Version (NIV). There are thousands of perversions in the Alexandrian texts. One such perversion is the complete removal of Acts 8:37. By removing this important Bible verse, it totally changed (and corrupts) the meaning of this Scripture passage. As you will see, by removing Acts 8:37 (which stipulates that believing the Gospel is a prerequisite to being water baptized), this passage now teaches the false doctrine of Baptismal Regeneration (i.e., the heresy that water baptism is a requirement for salvation). See for yourself:
KING JAMES BIBLE (KJB)—Acts 8:36-38, “And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized? And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him.” [emphasis added]
NEW INTERNATIONAL VERSION (NIV)—Acts 8:36-38, “As they traveled along the road, they came to some water and the eunuch said, “Look, here is water. What can stand in the way of my being baptized? And he gave orders to stop the chariot. Then both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water and Philip baptized him.”
EASY-TO-READ VERSION (ERV)—Acts 8:36-38, “While they were traveling down the road, they came to some water. The official said, “Look, here is water! What is stopping me from being baptized?” Then the official ordered the chariot to stop. Both Philip and the official went down into the water, and Philip baptized him.”
As you can plainly see, the Alexandrian based Bible revisions are RETARDED!!! Can you see this ridiculous scenario taught in the modern PERversions of the Bible... “Hey Philip, I'd like to get dunked in that pool of water over there! Can I do it? Can I do it? Sure Mr. Ethiopian Eunuch, I'll baptize you in that water!” No mention of the Gospel is made, which is absurd!
This is just one of literally 64,475 omissions, perversions and changes which the NIV makes as compared to the trustworthy King James Bible. If you have an NIV, please rip the cover off and throw it into your garbage pail. Burn it in your barbecue pit and send it back to Hell where it came from! Write the word “poison” across the cover with a permanent marker, and then toss it into the garbage can! If you love the Lord Jesus Christ, then His Words ought to be precious to you, for the Written Word reveals the Living Word to us (John 1:1-3, 14; Revelation 19:13).
In the Word of God, no one was ever water baptized until AFTER they believed the Gospel. Water baptism is an ordinance, not a sacrament, which is simply one's public profession. Just as a ring is a symbol of one's marriage vows, so also is water baptism a symbol (a likeness) of the Gospel. Christ died on the cross for our sins. He was buried. And then three days later, Jesus bodily resurrected from the dead. This truth (i.e., the Gospel) is symbolized in water baptism. And by the way, baptism is always by total immersion, being dunked completely in the water. Baptism by sprinkling is heresy, unbiblical, and not legitimate baptism. Also, it is totally unscriptural to baptize infants, because they are not old enough to believe the Gospel. Water baptism means nothing for the unbeliever. Being born-again is a mandatory prerequisite to believer's baptism.
As you can see, the Alexandrian Bible revisions are satanic, teaching baptism without salvation. Mark 16:16, “He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.” Notice that the person who is not baptized is not damned; but rather, the person who does not believe is damned! We are saved only by believing, nothing else. Corinthians 1:21, “For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.” Beware of Satan's Bible revisions, because they may take you to Hell where they are going.
