When You Love Somebody You Think About Them

by David J. Stewart | April 2020

Song Of Solomon, “I will rise now, and go about the city in the streets, and in the broad ways I will seek him whom my soul loveth: I sought him, but I found him not.

I took a break from my labors for the Lord today, and as I often do, went to glance out my front window. It is a nice sunny day. I have often written about the young woman I've been in love with for the past 3 years. I saw her today, playing with a little girl who she cares for across the street. My heart leaps with joy every time I see her. The Lord knows I am not a stalker. I don't wait for her, or watch for when she leaves, that would be creepy. I just take a look out the window several times each day, just out of habit, and I am happy when I see her car. Today I had the privilege to see her, and her wonderful smile, and I have been happy all day knowing that she is here.

As I went back to my work, tears came to my eyes, thinking about how much she means to me. When you pray for someone each day, and you think about their life and burdens, you are investing in them. What saith the Scripture? Matthew 6:21, “For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.” I guarantee you that if you spend time praying for someone, and spent time thinking about special things you can do for them, and how to help them, you will love them more. God only knows how much I wish I could do special things for her, and make her happy. I am no fool, I don't just love her because she is beautiful (although she is); she is a quality woman. She works hard. She is a Christian who loves the Lord. In my heart I feel like she is too good for me, which compels me to love her more. I wrote this poem for her this year in January. In my soul I hope to marry her, to love and take care of her.

I have been alone for 14 years, and I hate the loneliness. My faith in the Lord keeps me going. But for the grace of God I wouldn't have made it this far. Pastor Jack Hyles (1926-2001) said: “Love is thinking!” I like that. When you love someone, you think about them. You think of nice things to do for them. You think with empathy and try to put yourself in their shoes, to be understanding. Love is patient. Love puts others before self. 1st Corinthians 13:4-7, “Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.”

I often wonder if she thinks about me. When I come and go in my vehicle, I wonder if she notices me, if I mean anything to her. Oh how I want to be a part of her life! That is the main reason I have been trying to go back to Harvest Baptist Church on Guam, where she attends. I am being punished for being King James Bible only! I am in the doghouse! I've been a... BAD DOG!!! They've banned me from returning to Harvest because I openly criticize their church and pastors for promoting Devil's Bibles. I love everyone at Harvest, but they don't think there is anything wrong with using dozens of Bible revisions. Humbly, I know I am right! I offered to remove everything about their church from the internet, if they'd just give me a second chance; but I think their pastors know it will never work, because they are set in their Alexandrian ways. I know that there are members at Harvest who don't agree with their pastors on everything, yet I have been narrowed out because I actually took an uncompromising stand for the Lord (Ephesians 5:11; 6:12-13). I tell you the truth, that churches which use the modern Bible versions are part of the Alexandrian cult! It's not fair! I hope one day she will contact my e-mail on my Google Blogspot or send me a “Friend request” on my Facebook page. I'd cry if she did, in happiness.

Love is thinking. I have invested my heart, time and money in my web visitors for 18 years since 2002. Dr. Russell Anderson made this remarkable statement:

“When God saves us, He has an investment in us; and He says, 'Occupy 'til I come' in Luke; and that means, I think, to transact business—we're supposed to transact business for Jesus while we're here—and we're going to have to give an answer someday, to the Lord, for the investment that He's made in us.” —Dr. Russell Anderson; a truthful quote from, “Jack Hyles & Beverly Hyles 40th Anniversary Celebration and Banquet” (1999)

It is my heart's desire to serve God faithfully until Christ returns. Like Dr. Jack Hyles, I want to preach the BOOK (the King James Bible), the BLOOD (Jesus' literal liquid blood sprinkled on the heavenly mercy Seat) and the BODY (the importance of the local New Testament church)! All of this Coronavirus hysteria and World Government strongly suggests that the Lord's Pretribulation return in very near. And don't let anybody convince you that the Rapture cannot happen at any time. Titus 2:13, “Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;” If Christ cannot return at any time, then why would the Bible tell us to LOOK for His glorious appearing? If the Rapture comes after the Antichrist appears, then we should all be looking for the Antichrist. This fact proves a Pretribulation Rapture of the saints! Amen! I just hope the Lord doesn't return before the woman across the street marries me...lol. I do love her very much, but she has a choice, and if she doesn't choose me, I still love her as my sister in the Lord, and I am her friend.

It is unfortunate that Harvest Baptist Church on Guam continues to refuse to do the right thing. Dr. Bob Jones Sr. (1883-1968) is right, who said: “There is something about telling the truth that disarms even your enemies” (Things I Have Learned: Chapel Talks, pg. 51; Bob Jones University Press, 1945). Please watch this eye-opening movie titled: 'NEW WORLD ORDER BIBLE VERSIONS.' Arrogant pastors will fall the hardest on judgment day, when the Lord asks them why they were so wicked and hard-hearted to listen to a humble truth-teller like me, who repeatedly warned them about the Devil's Bible revisions and the Satanic frauds of Dr. John MacArthur and Lordship Salvation. To God be the glory, great things He hath done (and is doing). The Christian who loves the Lord will think about Him. Isaiah 26:3, “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.” When we love someone we think about them. I was so happy today when I saw the woman I've been in love with for three years. Likewise, I love Jesus and I am looking forward to seeing Him at the Rapture, or when I get to Heaven. Love is thinking, and I was thinking about you today. = -)
